GRADUATE CAREER ADVISING (GCA) provides a wide range of career advising services specifically for John Jay graduate students.
INDIVIDUAL ADVISING
The main goal of the Graduate Career Advising Office (GCA) is to help graduate students organize a personalized career strategy and to secure competitive employment opportunities. The Graduate Career Advisor is available to meet with the graduate student on an individual basis for career consultations.
PROGRAMMING & RECRUITING
During the academic year the GCA has planned a variety of professional career-related activities. These include: panel discussions, workshops, presentations and receptions addressing a broad range of topics to help the John Jay graduate student maximize competitive opportunities in the professional workforce.
The graduate career advisor provides interview opportunities with competitive, A-List employers specifically designed for John Jay graduate students. Graduate students are also able to meet and interview with employers at the College Career Services Annual Job Fair.
